Job Title: Social Media Strategist

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Social Media Strategist to develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy for Hillpost Bank.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the bank’s social media presence across multiple platforms, creating engaging content, and growing our online community.

Responsibilities

Develop and Implement Social Media Strategy: Create a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the bank’s overall marketing goals and objectives.
Manage Social Media Presence: Manage and maintain the bank’s social media presence across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Content Creation: Develop and curate high-quality, engaging content that resonates with our target audience.
Content Calendar: Plan, schedule, and publish content using a content calendar.
Engage with Online Community: Respond to comments, messages, and reviews on social media in a timely and professional manner.
Monitor and Analyze Performance: Track and analyze social media metrics, including engagement rates, follower growth, and conversions.
Identify and Mitigate Risks: Identify potential social media risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with marketing, communications, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and consistency across all channels.
Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay current with the latest social media trends, best practices, and platform changes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum 3 Years of Experience: In social media marketing, preferably in the financial services industry.
Proven Track Record: Of developing and implementing successful social media strategies that drive engagement and conversions.
Excellent Communication and Writing Skills: Ability to create high-quality, engaging content that resonates with our target audience.
Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to track and analyze social media metrics, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to optimize performance.
Familiarity with Social Media Management Tools: Experience with social media management tools, such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or Buffer.
Certifications: Google Analytics, Facebook Blueprint, or HubSpot certifications are a plus.
