Job Title: Chief of Staff to the Group CEO
Location: Lagos
Industry: Power | Renewable Energy | Real Estate | Hospitality
Employment Type: Full-time, Executive Level

About the Role:
A large and diversified conglomerate with interests across power generation and distribution, renewable energy, real estate development, and hospitality is seeking a highly strategic and execution-driven Chief of Staff to the Group CEO.
This role is a critical leadership position that will work closely with the Group CEO to drive strategic priorities, improve cross-business alignment, and ensure effective execution across the Group’s portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities:
•Serve as a trusted strategic partner to the Group CEO, supporting decision-making and execution of key initiatives
•Coordinate and track Group-wide strategic projects and transformation initiatives
•Act as a liaison between the CEO and business unit leaders, ensuring alignment and accountability
•Prepare high-level briefs, board papers, reports, and presentations for executive and board meetings
•Drive performance monitoring across subsidiaries and ensure timely delivery of agreed outcomes
•Support investor, partner, and stakeholder engagements as required
•Improve operational efficiency through structured governance, reporting, and follow-up mechanisms
•Handle sensitive matters with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment

Requirements & Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage
•10+ years of progressive experience in strategy, consulting, operations, investment, or executive leadership roles
•Prior experience working directly with a CEO, MD, or Board is highly desirable
•Strong exposure to at least one of the following sectors: power, energy, real estate, infrastructure, or hospitality
•Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
•Proven ability to manage complex, multi-business environments
•High level of integrity, discretion, and emotional intelligence
