Role Overview:
The Head of Private Banking (SM–GM) will provide strategic and commercial leadership for the bank’s Private Banking Division. The role is responsible for driving growth in High-Net-Worth (HNW) and Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) segments, strengthening client relationships, and delivering world-class wealth management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead and execute the bank’s Private Banking strategy
•Drive acquisition, retention, and portfolio growth of HNW/UHNW clients
•Manage and deepen relationships with top-tier private banking clients
•Oversee wealth management offerings including investments, credit, and advisory services
•Ensure compliance with regulatory, risk, and governance frameworks
•Lead, coach, and develop relationship managers and private banking teams
•Collaborate with Treasury, Investment Banking, and Asset Management units
•Deliver sustainable revenue growth and profitability for the division
Qualifications & Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
•MBA or relevant professional certifications (CFA, ACCA, CIS) is an added advantage
•15+ years of banking experience, with significant leadership exposure in Private Banking or Wealth Management
•Proven track record of managing large HNW/UHNW portfolios
•Strong knowledge of investment products, structured credit, and wealth planning
•Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and business development skills
