Finance Performance Management Officer
Reports to: Head, Finance Performance Management
Grade: SBO – AM

We’re searching for a Finance Performance Management Officer who will play a pivotal role in strengthening financial discipline, driving business performance, and enabling smarter, faster decision-making across the organization.
About the Role
You will be responsible for transforming raw financial data into meaningful business intelligence. You’ll lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance reporting, ensuring the business stays on track while identifying opportunities for growth, efficiency, and optimization.
What You’ll Do
Lead performance reporting and provide strategic insights.
Prepare periodic financial performance reports.
Develop KPIs, dashboards, and deep‑dive budget vs. actuals analysis.
Identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling.
Automate reports for speed and accuracy.
Deliver monthly MPRs and timely Board presentations.
Conduct mid‑month forecasts and report ALCO metrics.
Generate key MIS reports including NRFF and Cost of Funds.
Asking yourself if you are good to go?
You are, if you have:
A first degree in a relevant discipline.
Professional certifications such as ACIB, ACA, ACCA, CFA (added advantage).
8+ years’ experience in banking or a financial institution, including at least 5 years in Corporate Finance.
