Professional Carpenter (Installation and Production)
Location: Oshodi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: 400,000
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carpentry Production:
o Manufacture and assemble wood components, including doors, cabinets, wardrobes, and custom-made furniture.
o Interpret and execute technical drawings and plans to exact specifications.
o Oversee junior carpenters and guide them in carpentry production tasks.
2. Installation:
o Install wooden structures, fittings, and fixtures on-site (e.g., kitchens, doors, wardrobes).
o Collaborate with the design and project team to ensure proper fit and functionality.
o Resolve any on-site challenges related to fitting or design discrepancies.
3. Quality Control:
o Inspect finished products to ensure they meet company standards and client expectations.
o Identify and resolve any production or installation errors swiftly.
o Maintain quality control throughout the production and installation process.
Requirements:
· Minimum of 7-10 years of hands-on carpentry experience, with a focus on both production and installation.
· Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
· Ability to work on-site and oversee large-scale installations.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Good leadership and communication skills.
· Knowledge of Nigerian safety regulations and building standards is a plus.
Important Note:
This role requires candidates with prior experience in established luxury furniture manufacturing or high-end furniture production environments. Applications from candidates without experience in structured, premium furniture companies may not be considered.
