Job Title: Consultant Gynecologist

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Rotational Coverage: Abuja & Asaba Centres

Employment Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Medical Director / Clinical Director

We are expanding our advanced gynecological treatment portfolio and seek a highly competent Consultant Gynecologist to specialize in High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) technology.

Role Summary: The Consultant Gynecologist – HIFU will provide specialist gynecological care while undergoing structured training in High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) and Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART). The role combines clinical service delivery, advanced procedural practice, and rotational coverage across our centres. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong clinical competence, professional integrity, adaptability to international training standards, and commitment to long-term institutional growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties:

Provide comprehensive gynecological consultations, diagnosis, and treatment.
Perform advanced gynecological procedures including HIFU upon certification.
Evaluate and manage uterine fibroids and other HIFU-indicated conditions.
Participate in fertility consultations and ART case management.
Deliver high-quality patient counseling and post-procedure follow-up care.
Ensure adherence to clinical governance, ethical standards, and regulatory compliance.
Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation.
Procedural & Technical Responsibilities:

Successfully complete all required HIFU and ART training phases.
Apply international best practices in HIFU treatment protocols.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including embryologists and anesthetists.
Monitor patient outcomes and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Rotational Coverage:

Participate in scheduled rotations to Abuja and Asaba centres.
Provide specialist services across all operational locations as required.

Required Qualifications:

M.B., B.S. (or equivalent medical degree)
Fellowship qualification: F.W.A.C.S. or F.M.C.O.G.
Certified Consultant Gynaecologist
Valid Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) practicing license
Strong surgical and clinical competence in gynecology
Demonstrated professionalism and patient-centered approach

Training Structure

The selected candidate must be available to commence training within one month of receiving an offer.
The structured HIFU training program consists of three phases (each lasting 4–6 weeks):

Phase 1: Cultural Orientation & Organizational Integration (Lagos)
Induction into clinical protocols and governance standards
Integration into institutional culture and values
Orientation on service delivery standards
Phase 2: HIFU Technical & Clinical Training (China)
Intensive hands-on technical training in High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound
Advanced clinical application and safety protocols
Procedural certification upon successful completion
Phase 3: ART & HIFU Integration Training (Lagos)
Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) alignment
Advanced case management protocols
Clinical performance consolidation
SERVICE BOND REQUIREMENT
All successful candidates will be required to sign a three-year service bond, confirming commitment to the organization and ensuring continuity of service during the bond period.

COMPENSATION
Gross Monthly Remuneration: ₦1,500,000
