Job Title: Channel Development Manager
Location: Kano & North East/North West
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: ₦500,000 – ₦1,000,000 (based on experience and network strength)
About the Role
We are seeking experienced Channel Development Managers to drive dealer expansion, sell-out performance, and brand visibility across Kano and the North East/North West regions. The ideal candidate must have solid experience within the consumer electronics or home appliances industry, particularly in Air Conditioners and Televisions.
Key Responsibilities
* Expand the dealer network across assigned territory
* Conduct regular dealer visits to promote brand positioning and educate dealers on product value proposition
* Drive sell-out growth per dealer and improve sell-out velocity
* Monitor and analyze sell-in versus sell-out performance
* Improve regional distribution penetration
* Track, evaluate, and manage dealer performance
* Implement and maintain branded display corners in key dealer outlets
* Execute trade marketing initiatives to enhance in-store visibility
Requirements
* Minimum of 3+ years experience in channel sales or distribution within the consumer electronics/home appliances industry
* Strong regional dealer network across Kano / North East / North West
* Proven experience driving sell-out performance
* Data-driven mindset with ability to track sales metrics
* Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
Preferred Background:
Experience with reputable brands such as Fouani, Samsung, Midea, SIMS, or Somotex is highly preferred.
Candidates with experience in Deekay & Sons, Skyrun, TCL, Jamara, or CGCL will also be considered.
Product Expertise Required
Air Conditioners
Televisions
Strong understanding of distribution channels, dealer structures, and retail activation strategies within the region is essential.
