Job Title: Pharmacist
Salary: 300k – 350k
Location : Ajah Lagos
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Pharmacist to work in our pharmaceutical services at a modern specialist hospital. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective use of medications, uphold regulatory compliance, and partner with clinical teams to enhance patient safety and promote rational drug use.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise all pharmacy operations — including procurement, storage, and dispensing
• Ensure full compliance with NAFDAC, PCN, and internal drug policies
• Develop and implement medication management protocols and SOPs
• Monitor stock levels, prevent wastage, and minimize stockouts
• Provide clinical support to medical and nursing teams on drug-related issues
• Ensure proper handling and documentation of controlled substances
• Investigate adverse drug events and drive safety improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with hospital leadership on budgeting and cost control for pharmacy services
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (PharmD or equivalent)
Valid Pharmacist License in Nigeria
Minimum of 3 years of progressive pharmacy experience
Strong background in hospital pharmacy operations and regulatory standards
