JOB OVERVIEW
A hospitality organization is seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager to lead recruitment, employee engagement, training, workforce planning, and HR operations while building a strong workplace culture and supporting organizational growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
β’ Lead recruitment and onboarding across multiple departments
β’ Develop seasonal and permanent hiring plans
β’ Manage end-to-end recruitment processes
β’ Organize hospitality and customer service training programs
β’ Identify skill gaps and coordinate staff development initiatives
β’ Build leadership development programs for department heads
β’ Handle employee relations, grievances, and conflict resolution
β’ Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives
β’ Administer payroll, pensions, and health insurance compliance
β’ Support workforce planning and long-term staffing strategies
REQUIREMENTS
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Human Resources or related field
β’ Masterβs degree or MBA is an advantage
β’ CIPM membership or SHRM/PHRi certification required
β’ Minimum 7β8 years progressive HR experience
β’ At least 2 years in a managerial role
β’ Hospitality industry experience is highly preferred
β’ Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR practices
β’ Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software
β’ Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
