JOB OVERVIEW
A hospitality organization is seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager to lead recruitment, employee engagement, training, workforce planning, and HR operations while building a strong workplace culture and supporting organizational growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead recruitment and onboarding across multiple departments
• Develop seasonal and permanent hiring plans
• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes
• Organize hospitality and customer service training programs
• Identify skill gaps and coordinate staff development initiatives
• Build leadership development programs for department heads
• Handle employee relations, grievances, and conflict resolution
• Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives
• Administer payroll, pensions, and health insurance compliance
• Support workforce planning and long-term staffing strategies
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
• Master’s degree or MBA is an advantage
• CIPM membership or SHRM/PHRi certification required
• Minimum 7–8 years progressive HR experience
• At least 2 years in a managerial role
• Hospitality industry experience is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR practices
• Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
