JOB OVERVIEW
An engineering/EPC company in Lagos is seeking a Cost Engineer to manage project cost estimation, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to ensure efficient project delivery and minimize commercial risks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare and manage accurate project cost estimates
• Monitor project costs and analyze variances
• Conduct cost forecasting and identify risks and opportunities
• Support tendering and pricing activities
• Review invoices, variations, and claims
• Prepare regular cost reports for management
REQUIREMENTS
• Relevant degree (Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction, or related field)
• 5–7 years’ experience in cost engineering or project cost control
• EPC, construction, engineering, or oil & gas experience required
• Strong knowledge of cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
