JOB OVERVIEW
A manufacturing company in Ota is seeking an Internal Control Manager to develop, implement, and monitor internal control systems, ensure compliance, and strengthen financial and operational governance across all departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures
• Monitor compliance across all departments
• Prevent illegal or unethical business practices
• Supervise internal control activities across departments
• Coordinate internal and external audit processes
• Review financial controls, insurance, and compliance systems
• Communicate policy updates to departments and staff
• Work with HR to update compliance documentation and manuals
• Conduct regular internal audits and departmental reviews
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and legal requirements
• Engage with auditors and ensure resolution of audit findings
• Identify training needs for compliance improvement
• Manage transfer pricing, consolidation, and IFRS implementation
• Develop policies to improve efficiency and internal controls
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
• Master’s degree is an added advantage
• ACA / ACCA / CFA / CPA or equivalent certification required
• Minimum 10 years hands-on experience in internal control (manufacturing sector)
• Strong background in audit, compliance, accounting, or legal governance
• Proven senior management experience
