Hiring: Payroll Officer
Location: Gujeni, Kaduna

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Officer with at least 6 years of experience in industrial sectors such as FMCG, Mining, or Manufacturing.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and supporting HR and Finance teams in delivering accurate and timely employee compensation.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and process monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Maintain payroll records, employee data, and time/attendance systems.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, pension schemes, and other statutory requirements.
Prepare payroll reports for management, finance, and audit purposes.
Handle employee queries related to salaries, deductions, and benefits.
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to align payroll with company policies and budgets.
Manage payroll reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Support audits and provide documentation as required.
Continuously improve payroll processes and systems for efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
Minimum of 6 years’ payroll experience in industrial sectors (FMCG, Mining, Manufacturing, etc.).
Strong knowledge of payroll systems, labor laws, and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage, or similar).
Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
