A Fintech company in Ogba, Lagos is recruiting for young, smart, and trainable individuals interested in starting a career in CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (CSR). Job experience is an added advantage.

*Core Skills*
– *Communication*: Excellent verbal & written English. Local languages like Pidgin/Hausa/Igbo/Yoruba are a big plus in Port Harcourt
– *Active listening*: Ability to understand customer issues without interrupting
– *Problem-solving*: Can think on feet and resolve complaints calmly
– *Computer literacy*: CRM tools, Microsoft Office, typing speed 35+ WPM
– *Multitasking*: Handle calls, chats, and emails simultaneously
*Personal Attributes*
– *Patience & empathy*: Stay calm with upset or difficult customers
– *Positive attitude*: Professional phone voice, friendly demeanor
– *Reliability*: Punctuality and good attendance – critical for shift work
– *Team player*: Works well with sales, tech, and operations teams
– *Integrity*: Handles sensitive customer data confidentially
*Technical Requirements*
– *CRM experience*: Salesforce, Zendesk, Zoho, or similar tools
– *Phone etiquette*: Knows how to de-escalate and document calls
– *Basic troubleshooting*: For tech/product companies, ability to guide customers through fixes
*Other Requirements*
– *Shift flexibility*: Willing to work weekends, holidays
– *Target-driven*: Comfortable with KPIs like CSAT, AHT, FCR
– *Clear voice*: No heavy accents that impede understanding on calls
– *Background check*: Clean record, especially if handling payments/accounts
*Education & Experience*
– OND / HND (any discipline)
– *Experience*: 0-2 years for entry level.
– *Industry knowledge*: Prior experience in the sector is a plus. For banking, product knowledge matters
– Basic computer skills (MS Office)
– Good communication and interpersonal skills
