Job Description
We are seeking a reliable, disciplined, and experienced Professional Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation services while ensuring the assigned vehicle is properly maintained. The ideal candidate must be familiar with Lagos road networks, particularly the mainland and island routes, and demonstrate a high level of professionalism, punctuality, and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely transport management, staff, and visitors to designated locations.
* Plan efficient routes to ensure timely arrival while avoiding traffic where possible.
* Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after trips.
* Keep the assigned vehicle clean, fueled, and in excellent working condition.
* Ensure all vehicle documents (insurance, license, roadworthiness, etc.) remain valid.
* Report mechanical faults, accidents, or maintenance needs promptly.
* Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle servicing.
* Run official errands, including document deliveries and collections when required.
* Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
* Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and a courteous attitude at all times.
Requirements
* Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
* Valid Nigerian Driver’s License.
* At least 3 years of professional driving experience.
* Good knowledge of Lagos road networks and traffic regulations.
* Ability to use Google Maps or other navigation applications.
* Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* High level of integrity, reliability, and punctuality.
* Must be willing to reside in the accommodation provided.
