About the Role
Knox Pharmaceuticals is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the company’s financial records, reporting, reconciliations, and day-to-day accounting operations.
The successful candidate must be available to work onsite at the company’s office in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
* Perform bank reconciliations and monitor company accounts.
* Track expenses, payments, receivables, and outstanding balances.
* Prepare invoices, payment schedules, and supporting documentation.
* Assist with budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial planning.
* Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and statutory requirements.
* Collaborate with management on financial reporting and decision-making.
* Maintain proper filing of receipts, vouchers, and transaction records.
Requirements
* B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
* Relevant accounting experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, FMCG, or distribution industry.
* Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Zoho Books.
* High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
* Must be able to commute daily to Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
