About the Role
Our client, a luxury hospitality brand, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of its hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations across all hotel departments.
* Develop and implement SOPs that uphold luxury hospitality standards.
* Manage operational budgets and monitor financial performance.
* Drive revenue growth and cost optimization initiatives.
* Lead, mentor, and develop hotel staff.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
* Oversee facility maintenance, vendor management, and operational logistics.
* Prepare and present operational and financial performance reports.
* Drive initiatives that improve guest satisfaction, staff engagement, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* MBA or professional certification in Hospitality Operations is an advantage.
* 3–7 years of progressive leadership experience in hotel operations, including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
* Strong knowledge of Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Facility Management.
* Proven experience in budgeting, financial reporting, revenue optimization, and cost control.
* Excellent leadership, organizational, and people management skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel/property management software.
* Good knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
* Familiarity with the Lagos hospitality market is an advantage.
