About the Role
Palmora Nigeria Limited, a plastic recycling factory, is seeking a reliable and experienced Factory Driver to transport raw materials, finished products, equipment, personnel and other company materials while ensuring the safe and proper maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely transport raw materials, finished products, equipment and personnel.
* Ensure goods are properly loaded, secured and delivered.
* Assist with loading and offloading where required.
* Maintain trip sheets, delivery records, fuel records and vehicle logbooks.
* Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report faults promptly.
* Keep the assigned vehicle clean, safe and operational.
* Submit delivery notes, waybills and other required documentation.
* Comply with traffic laws, company policies and safety procedures.
* Support Logistics, Procurement, Maintenance and Production teams with transportation needs.
* Report accidents, damages, shortages and delivery issues immediately.
* Perform local and interstate trips when required.
Requirements
* Minimum of SSCE/WAEC; OND is an advantage.
* Valid Nigerian Driver’s License appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
* Minimum of 3 years’ professional driving experience.
* Experience driving trucks, vans, pickups or commercial vehicles is an advantage.
* Experience in manufacturing, recycling, logistics, FMCG or industrial environments is preferred.
* Good knowledge of Lagos, Ogun State and surrounding industrial areas.
* Basic vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
* Ability to use GPS/navigation applications.
* Good communication and documentation skills.
* Physically fit and able to assist with loading/offloading.
* Responsible, punctual, trustworthy and safety-conscious.
* Willingness to work flexible or extended hours when required.
