About the Role
The Threat Intelligence & Vulnerability Management Analyst will identify, analyze, and mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities across the organization’s IT environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze emerging threats, malware trends, and attacker techniques.
* Conduct vulnerability assessments across systems, applications, and cloud environments.
* Perform vulnerability scans using tools such as QualysGuard.
* Support incident response by identifying vulnerabilities exploited during attacks.
* Analyze security data, trends, and anomalies to provide actionable insights.
* Assess and prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk and impact.
* Test patches and configuration changes to validate remediation.
* Collaborate with IT and security teams on vulnerability remediation and threat intelligence.
Requirements
* Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, Diamond Model, and Cyber Kill Chain frameworks.
* Hands-on experience with QualysGuard and SIEM tools such as AlienVault.
* Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
* Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, and networking fundamentals.
* Knowledge of threat intelligence platforms and methodologies.
* Relevant certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CEH, or GSEC are an advantage.
