About the Role
We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented QC Inspector to join the Quality Control team.
Key Responsibilities
– Inspect raw materials, in-process production, and finished products.
– Conduct quality checks and measurements according to specifications.
– Monitor product dimensions, thickness/micron, appearance, and other quality parameters.
– Identify, document, and report defective or non-conforming products.
– Ensure production output meets approved customer and company specifications.
– Carry out routine quality tests and maintain accurate QC records.
– Work closely with Production and other departments to resolve quality issues.
– Ensure compliance with established QC procedures and standards.
– Perform any other quality-related duties assigned by the QC Supervisor/HOD.
Requirements
– OND/HND/B.Sc. in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Industrial Chemistry, Science Laboratory Technology, or a related field.
– 2–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in plastic/polythene manufacturing.
– Good knowledge of quality inspection procedures and documentation.
– Ability to work shifts in a manufacturing environment.
– Good attention to detail and strong reporting skills.
– Must be willing to work in Kano and the Challawa Industrial Area.
– Gender: Male preferred.
