About the Role
Medmax Pharmacy is seeking a skilled post-internship Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care, counsel patients, supervise pharmacy staff, and support inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, completeness, and therapeutic appropriateness.
• Dispense medications accurately, ensuring proper labelling and packaging.
• Counsel patients on medication use, dosage, side effects, storage, and adherence.
• Conduct basic health screenings, including blood pressure and blood glucose monitoring.
• Advise patients on minor ailments and over-the-counter medications.
• Supervise, mentor, and guide pharmacy staff.
• Manage inventory, procurement, and stock control to ensure medicine availability and minimize waste.
• Promote teamwork, professional development, and ethical pharmacy practices.
Requirements
• Must be a post-internship Pharmacist.
• Strong pharmaceutical knowledge and patient counselling skills.
• Ability to dispense medications accurately and provide basic health screening services.
• Good leadership, inventory management, and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to professional and ethical standards.
