Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Controller responsible for risk management and developing the company’s financial strategy. The ideal candidate must possess extensive expertise in financial systems, controls, and management, and must demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills to thrive in a high-pressure environment.

Key Functions:

– Drive financial planning, budgeting, and controls

– Execute in-depth risk management analysis

– Raise and manage funds from various sources

– Manage cash and liquidity risks

– Ensure compliance with regulatory financial, tax, and reporting requirements

Duties / Responsibilities:

– Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Financial and Management Accounting functions

– Manage vendor relationships and procurement

– Develop and manage relationships with investors and financiers

– Ensure operational efficiency and compliance with financial regulations

– Implement financial reporting standards

– Recruit, train, and mentor financial staff

Experience & Qualifications:

– BSc / BA in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus

– 10+ years of proven experience in a senior financial managerial role

– Extensive knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices

– Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software

– Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills

– Knowledge of the aviation industry

– CPA/ACCA/ACA certification required
