Job Summary:
The Head of Warehouse & Logistics will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, inventory management, transportation, and logistics processes to ensure efficient movement, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment.
The ideal candidate will drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, compliance, and supply chain reliability, particularly within the power and energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Warehouse Operations Management
•Oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch of materials.
•Implement best practices to ensure safe, efficient, and organized warehouse management.
•Ensure proper handling and storage of critical power and engineering equipment.
2. Logistics & Distribution
•Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.
•Manage transportation planning, routing, and vendor relationships.
•Optimize logistics operations to reduce costs and improve service levels.
3. Inventory Management
•Establish robust inventory control systems to ensure accuracy and availability of materials.
•Monitor stock levels, conduct periodic audits, and minimize losses or discrepancies.
•Implement systems to track materials, spare parts, and equipment.
4. Supply Chain Coordination

•Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and operations teams to ensure smooth supply chain flow.
•Ensure timely availability of materials required for power generation, maintenance, and project execution.
•Support strategic sourcing and vendor management initiatives.
5. Compliance & Risk Management
•Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
•Implement warehouse safety protocols and risk mitigation measures.
•Maintain proper documentation and reporting for warehouse and logistics activities.

Qualifications & Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
•Minimum of 10- 15years’ experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably within the power, energy, oil & gas, or heavy industry sector.
•Strong experience managing large-scale warehouse operations and logistics networks.
•Excellent knowledge of inventory management systems and logistics planning.
