Job Description
A bottle girl assists customers who order an entire bottle of wine or liquor. Most bottle girls work at restaurants, nightclubs, lounges or entertainment venues.
Places that offer VIP services often include bottle girls as a perk for distinguished guests. A bottle girl role is to provide exclusivity and excellent customer service to enhance the guests’ experience at the venue.
The primary job of a bottle girls to take orders from guests and bring bottles to the table or lounge area. Other responsibilities of a bottle girl include:
Making wine or liquor suggestions to guests
Pouring and mixing drinks at the table
Taking food and additional beverage orders
Talking with customers and other guests or providing entertainment
Promoting or upselling certain products, such as those on special.
