Job Title: Business Development Specialist
Location: Ogba, Lagos
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Specialist with proven expertise in corporate customer acquisition, banking services, and deposit growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying opportunities, fostering relationships with corporate clients, and ensuring successful service delivery to achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Corporate Customer Acquisition:
o Identify, target, and onboard new corporate clients to expand the company’s portfolio.
o Build long-term relationships with corporate customers to enhance loyalty and business sustainability.
2. Banking Services Promotion:
o Promote banking products and services tailored to corporate customer needs, including deposit acquisition, transaction solutions, and cash management services.
o Analyze market trends and client needs to recommend appropriate banking solutions.
3. Deposit Growth and Retention:
o Develop strategies to acquire and grow corporate deposits in line with company objectives.
o Collaborate with internal teams to provide seamless onboarding and retention processes.
4. Market Research and Strategy Development:
o Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and competitive threats.
o Propose innovative strategies to enhance revenue streams and client engagement.
5. Performance Tracking and Reporting:
o Track business development performance against key KPIs and provide regular updates to management.
o Prepare detailed reports on customer acquisition, deposit trends, and revenue growth.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of proven experience in business development within banking or financial services.
• Strong track record of acquiring and managing corporate clients successfully.
• Excellent understanding of deposit acquisition strategies and banking service offerings.
Skills and Competencies:
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to engage corporate clients effectively.
• Strong analytical and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems and MS Office tools.
