Looking for a CFO with experience in the tech space.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy and Planning
Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy in alignment with business goals.
Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
Financial Reporting and Compliance
Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial reporting requirements.
Establish and enforce robust financial controls, policies, and procedures.
Operational Efficiency and Risk Management
Oversee internal audits, risk assessments, and due diligence processes.
Capital Structure and Fundraising
Manage the company’s capital structure, debt, and equity, ensuring optimal financial positioning.
Collaborate with the CEO to identify funding needs and develop relationships with investors, venture capitalists, and financial institutions.
Drive and execute fundraising efforts, including debt and equity financing, as required.
Partner with cross-functional leaders to align financial goals with departmental strategies.
Mergers, Acquisitions, and Strategic Investments
Support M&A initiatives, including target identification, financial due diligence, valuation, and integration.
Conduct financial modeling and analysis for potential acquisitions, partnerships, and joint ventures.
Lead post-merger integration for financial operations and reporting.
Investor Relations and Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for investors and external stakeholders.
Prepare and present financial information and business updates to investors, board members, and analysts.
Maintain transparency and build trust with stakeholders through clear, consistent communication.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (CFO, VP of Finance) in a technology or high-growth environment.
Experience in the tech sector.
In-depth knowledge of corporate finance, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within the tech industry.
Demonstrated experience in fundraising, including managing relationships with venture capital and private equity.
Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
