Job Title: Cinematographer/Editor Executive

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Position Type: Full-Time

Job Description:
Creative Vision: The candidate should understand and be able to execute the creative vision of the project, ensuring that the visual storytelling aligns with the overall narrative.

Technical Proficiency: Ability to operate and manage camera equipment, lighting, and editing software to produce high-quality visual content.

Collaboration: Willingness to work closely with directors, producers, and other team members to bring the project to life.

Time Management: Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure that every shot and edit is polished and professional.
Key Responsibilities:
Filming: Responsible for setting up and operating cameras, framing shots, and ensuring proper lighting.

Editing: Proficient in post-production work, including cutting, colour correction, sound editing, and visual effects.

Project Coordination: Ability to oversee the entire production process from pre-production planning to post-production delivery.

Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all camera, lighting, and editing equipment is maintained and functional.

Creative Input: Contribute ideas to enhance the visual aspects of the project, offering suggestions during the filming and editing stages.

 

Qualifications Required:
HND or BSc Graduate of

Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a range of work, including different types of projects, styles, and technical skills.
Experience:
Industry Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cinematography and video editing, with a proven track record of successful projects.

Project Variety: Experience working on a variety of projects, including short films, commercials, documentaries, or corporate videos.
Skills:
Technical Proficiency: Skilled in operating cameras, filming equipment, and using editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro or capcut.

Creativity: Strong artistic sense, with expertise in visual composition, lighting, and colour grading.

Communication: Effective in both verbal and written communication for collaboration with team members and clients
