Job Description
A customer service representative (CSR) isresponsible for interacting with customers on behalf of a company.Their responsibilities include:
Answering questions:
CSRs respond to customer questions about products, services, or the company in general.They may answer questions by phone, email, chat, or in person
Resolving issues:
CSRs investigate customer complaints, determine the cause of the problem, and select a solution.They may also process refunds, shipments, and account adjustments.
Providing information:
CSRs may provide information about other products or services to upsell customers.They may also provide information about specifications and features
Maintaining records:
CSRs keep track of customer correspondence and account information.
Participating in meetings:
CSRs may participate in meetings with the customer service team to develop new communication strategies.
Maintaining confidentiality:
CSRs uphold customer confidentiality, especially regarding financial matters and identity.
Working with sales:
CSRs may work with the sales team to create better methods for addressing customer complaints.
CSRs can work for many types of businesses, including retail stores, banks, and insurance companies.The specific duties of a CSR may vary depending on the company and industry.
Responsibilities
Listening to customers’ concerns and handling complaints and returns.
Giving detailed explanations of services or products.
Working with a sales team to create better methods to address customer complaints.
Reviewing customer accounts and transactions while resolving issues.
Salary
N60,000 – N70,000 monthly.
