Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in interpreting electrical design drawings, calculating material quantities, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Interpret electrical design drawings and specifications.
2. Calculate material quantities for each electrical component.
3. Ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
4. Incorporate necessary quality control measures into the Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
5. Communicate with field engineers to obtain accurate pricing and availability of information.
6. Select appropriate electrical equipment, cables, transformers, and fixtures based on project requirements.
7. Prepare BOQ for transformer installation.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering or related field.
– Minimum of 3 years of work experience in electrical engineering.
– Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, codes, and standards.
– Proficient in using electrical engineering software and tools.
– Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
