Job Description

Job title: Front Desk Officer/Receptionist
Industry: Hospitality (5-star hotel)
Location: GRA, Ikeja

The ideal candidate for the role is someone with excellent negotiation skills, great communication, both written and oral, a good track record of interpersonal relations, an advanced level of technical skills, the ability to carry out job tasks when there’s a high volume of clients and a great attitude. Our preferred candidate must have a minimum of 2 year of experience in front-office hospitality, with the ability to deliver all duties in the job description.

Key responsibilities:
* Handle reservation management
* Welcome guests upon arrival
* Verification and handling of guest payment
* Organization and maintenance of our firm’s files and records
* Management of both phone and online reservations
* Maintenance of updated files and records
* Facilitate correspondence with customers
* Ensure a smooth guest experience
* Ensure timely and accurate customer service
* Regularly update and check the calendar for events
* Monitor front desk supplies
* Ability to handle administrative tasks
* Preparing outgoing mail and distributing incoming mail
* Responding to complaints
