Job Description

Job title: Human Resources Business Partner

Location: Ogba, Lagos

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Improving relations between staff and employers

Planning and execute recruitment plans

Assist in the development of performance management program and take initiative to ensure motivation and retain of poorly performing employees

Assist in talent management by involving in promotion and selection

Work with departmental management to ensure HR strategies are aligned with departmental objectives

Provide professional advice when needed

Implement strategies to help improve the department

Identify departmental issues encounter

Engaging with heads of department.

Updating employee records

Overseeing employee relations

Advising line managers and departmental managers of employment law

Assist in implementing disciplinary procedures

Preparing job descriptions, publishing job adverts

Enforcing company policies and procedures

On-boarding new starters/new staff inductions

Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

 

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s with 2+ years of experience in relevant roles ideally in a fast-paced, hyper-growth global tech environment.

Degree in Human resources or any related course

Strong leadership skills.

Good communication skill

knowledge of country employment-related laws and statutory requirements, compliance, and policies.

Prior experience in compensation & benefits and rewards management.

Proficient knowledge of MS office.

Attention to detail.

Critical thinking skills.

Computer savvy.

Salary: 200k gross
