Our Microfinance Bank is seeking a Managing Director to drive strategic initiatives, lead operational excellence, and foster financial inclusion within the communities we serve.
Position: Managing Director
Location: Lagos Mainland- Ikeja
Salary Range: N1.5m to N3m per month
Employment Type: Full-Time
Benefits: Paid Vacation, Medical Insurance, status car with driver, 13th month allowance, profit sharing and other benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy:
·      Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the bank’s financial goals, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure sustainable growth.
·      ⁠Business Development: Identify market opportunities, expand the customer base, and drive loan portfolio growth while maintaining low credit risk.
·      ⁠Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all bank activities comply with applicable laws, banking regulations, and best practices.
·      ⁠Team Management: Oversee recruitment, training, and development of a high-performing team that is passionate about serving our clients.
·      ⁠Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including customers, investors, and regulatory authorities.
·      ⁠Financial Oversight: Manage the bank’s financial health by monitoring budgets, investments, risk management, and financial reports.

Qualifications:
·      Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or relevant master’s degree is highly preferred.
·      At least 10 years of experience in the banking sector, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior management role.
·      Strong understanding of microfinance principles, loan management, and financial products for low-income clients. Experience in corporate finance is an added advantage.
·      Proven ability to lead teams, drive performance, and manage change in a fast-paced environment.
·      Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial metrics and the ability to interpret and act on financial reports.
·      Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
