ABOUT CLIENT: The Future Edge is a global consulting and business support solutions company. We are seeking a ‘Media and Communications Officer’ for our client; a leading training and consulting firm.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Content Creation & Management:
·Develop and manage high-quality, engaging content for the company’s website, social media platforms, and other digital marketing channels.
·Write newsletters, and other external communications to showcase training programs, events, and success stories.
-Photography & Videography:
Capture high-quality photos and videos at company events, training sessions, and conferences.
Edit and produce engaging video content for social media, website, and other platforms, including promotional videos, event highlights, and training snippets.
-Social Media Management:
·Manage the firm’s social media presence by creating and scheduling posts that promote services, events, and client success stories.
·Engage with followers and respond to inquiries promptly and professionally.
-Media Relations:
·Establish and maintain relationships with local and online media outlets to secure media coverage for the firm’s events, achievements, and key announcements, improving both traditional and digital footprints.
-Event Management & Coverage:
·Coordinate and manage communications for training events, workshops, and conferences, ensuring media coverage and promotional material.
·Oversee the production of marketing materials such as brochures, banners, and event hand-outs.
-Brand Management:
·Ensure consistency in the company’s messaging and visual identity across all media platforms.
·Manage the company’s brand reputation by monitoring online reviews and public feedback.
-Digital Marketing:
·Create digital marketing campaigns to promote the firm’s training programs and consulting services.
·Manage and optimize SEO and web traffic through content and social media strategies.
QUALIFICATION/SKILLS:
·Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
·2years of experience in media, public relations, communications, or content production, preferably in a professional services or consulting environment.
·Proven skills in graphics design, photography, video shooting, and editing.
·Proficiency with video and photo editing software (e.g.,Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop).
·Experience managing social media platforms and content creation.
·Strong relationship-building skills and media network.
·Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
