Job Title: Operations Manager & Credit and Risk Officer
Employment Type: Full-time
Location: Lagos and Abuja.
Key Responsibilities:
– Oversee day-to-day activities across all departments in collaboration with the department heads.
– Monitor performance metrics and ensure operational efficiency.
– Supervise, mentor, and develop staff across various departments.
– Resolve operational issues and implement strategies to enhance client retention.
– Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
– Manage budgets, equipment, and other resources efficiently.
– Assess client creditworthiness by analyzing financial data, credit reports, and repayment histories.
– Determine loan eligibility and recommend approval or rejection based on findings.
– Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks associated with loans and investments.
– Develop risk models to predict potential financial challenges.
– Monitor ongoing risks and propose corrective measures as needed.
– Maintain accurate records of all credit and risk analyses.
– Prepare detailed reports on client credit profiles and risk assessments.
– Ensure all lending decisions comply with company policies and regulatory standards.
– Stay updated on financial regulations and adjust practices as necessary.
– Communicate loan terms and conditions effectively to clients.
Requirements:
– Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field
– Experience: 5+ years in operations management and credit risk within financial services. The person must have credit and risk experience particularly (preferably) in a banking institution.
– Proficiency in financial software and data analysis

Salary: N150k – N200k
