Job Title: Pharmacist

Job Status: Full-Time
Location: Surulere, Lagos.
Havana specialist hospital is currently seeking for the service of a “Pharmacist” who will work as part of a dedicated pharmacy team to ensure delivery of comprehensive pharmacy services to achieve stated goals and objectives. The post holder will be responsible to the Chief Pharmacist
The successful candidate shall be responsible for among other things:
• Ensure best pharmaceutical practice, having regard to legal and ethical requirements for the provision of the pharmacy service.
• Assist in managing the efficient running of the pharmacy. Participate in/ supervise the operation of the pharmacy, and the procurement, storage and supply of pharmaceuticals and other related items.
• Work with the Chief Pharmacist in identifying and implementing operational processes to the standards of ‘best practice’ in order to optimize use of resources and improve quality and medication safety.
• To undertake regular departmental risk management assessments, quality improvements and Health and Safety assessments in accordance with hospital policies
Requirements:
• Must possess a degree or its equivalent in pharmacy, full Registration with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) and a valid practicing license.
• Must possess a minimum of 3-4 years post qualification hospital work experience and exposure to quality assurance initiatives.
• Thorough understanding of dosage administration and measurement, chemical compounds, medical brands etc.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented approach.
