Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager – Northern Region

Job Summary: The Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders across the Northern Region. The ideal candidate will have profound knowledge of the healthcare industry, commercial experience with government and public sector entities, and the ability to communicate fluently in both English and Hausa. This role requires extensive travel within the Northern states.
Key Responsibilities:
•Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key business clients in the Northern Region, ensuring their needs are met and fostering strong, long-term relationships.
•Stakeholder Engagement: Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government parastatals, public sector organizations, and private partners, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
•Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic account management plans to achieve business objectives and drive growth within the region.
•Commercial Operations: Leverage commercial experience to identify new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and close deals with key clients in the healthcare sector.
•Industry Expertise: Utilize profound industry knowledge to provide insights and advice to clients, ensuring they receive the best possible service and solutions.
•Communication: Communicate effectively in both English and Hausa, ensuring clear and concise interactions with all stakeholders.
•Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes, particularly in the Northern region.
•Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular reports on account management activities, client feedback, and market developments to senior management.
•Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
•Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within the Northern states to meet clients, attend meetings, and represent the company at various forums.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management, Business Administration,
or a related field.
•A minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, client relations, or business development within the healthcare industry.
•MBA or an advanced degree in a related field is an advantage.
•Profound knowledge of the healthcare industry, particularly within the Northern region.
•Commercial experience working with government parastatals, public sector organizations, and private partnerships.
•Fluent in both English and Hausa, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Willingness to travel extensively within the Northern states.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
