Job Title: Medical Record Officer
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
Ensuring that all medical records are protected and kept confidential
Welcome and direct patients and visitors in a professional manner.
Handle patient registration and appointment scheduling.
Manage phone calls, enquiries, and patient follow-ups.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Qualifications
Candidate must possess a good National Diploma in Medical Records Technician with at least 3 years post-qualification cognate experience and should be fully registered with the Institute of Medical Record Technicians of Nigeria.
Candidate must possess an HND/B.Sc qualification in Medical Records from a recognized institution.
1 – 5 years of experience is required.
Valid practicing license from the relevant body is mandatory.
Must be Computer Literate.
Competency and Technical Skill Requirements:
Proficiency in MS Office, with exceptional knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of Google Docs, Excellent customer relationship skills, Computer proficiency
Organizational skills
Communication skills
Ability to multi-task
Time management.
