Job Title: Flavorist (R&D & Quality Control)
Location: Isheri, Ogun State
Salary: ₦450,000 – ₦500,000 Monthly
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Flavorist to develop, analyze, and improve flavor and fragrance formulations for various product applications. The role involves flavor creation, laboratory analysis, quality control, customer complaint investigation, and R&D leadership in line with food safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and reformulate flavor profiles for new and existing products.
* Conduct physico-chemical analysis (chromatography, spectrometry, etc.) to ensure product quality.
* Lead product development and improvement projects.
* Investigate customer complaints and provide root cause analysis.
* Ensure compliance with GMP, HSE, QMS, and FSSC 22000 standards.
* Provide technical support to commercial teams and clients.
* Supervise and train junior team members.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
* Experience in the flavour & fragrance (perfume), beverage, or FMCG industry is required.
* Strong knowledge of quality control methods and analytical testing techniques.
* Basic understanding of QMS and FSSC 22000 requirements.
