Job Title: Senior Business Development Executive
Industry: Hospitality (One of the Largest Hotel Chains in Africa)
Location: Abuja, Nigeria
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Development Executive to drive revenue growth, identify new business opportunities, and build strategic client relationships.
The ideal candidate will be a results-driven professional with strong commercial acumen, capable of combining market insights, relationship management, and sales strategy to contribute significantly to the organization’s growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Growth & Strategy
•Identify and develop new business opportunities across key target markets.
•Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and expand market share.
•Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and customer needs.
2. Client Relationship Management
•Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners.
•Act as a trusted advisor by understanding clients’ business objectives.
•Lead negotiations for contracts, partnerships, and strategic agreements.
3. Sales & Revenue Generation
•Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
•Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals, presentations, and pitches.
•Collaborate with marketing teams to generate leads and convert them into business.
4. Collaboration & Leadership
•Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless client experience and successful delivery.
•Mentor and guide junior business development professionals.
•Provide regular reports and insights on business development performance to senior management.
5. Brand & Market Positioning
•Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking engagements.
•Strengthen the company’s market presence and brand reputation.
Qualifications & Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
•Minimum of 18 years’ experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management.
•Strong understanding of sales strategy, market analysis, and revenue generation.
•Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
•Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
•Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
