Vacancy – Senior HR Manager (Manufacturing experience required)

Location – Kaduna

I’m helping with referrals for the above position.

You are responsible for driving employee engagement initiatives and ensuring smooth HR operational processes within the organization. This role focuses on enhancing employee experience, managing day-to-day HR operations, supporting HR policies and compliance, and implementing programs that improve workplace culture, employee satisfaction, and organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• HR Business Partnering – Work with the Plant CEO to design, develop and implement people strategies for business growth.
• ⁠Industrial relations – Manage, coordinate and direct negotiations with unions in the factories.

Employee Engagement: Plan and implement employee engagement strategies and programs to improve employee morale and satisfaction, organize company events such as town halls, team-building activities, employee recognition programs, and celebrations and implement initiatives to strengthen company culture and employee experience.
• HR Operations: Manage day-to-day HR operations, support onboarding and offboarding processes and ensure HR policies and procedures are properly implemented across the organization
• Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and HR queries, support conflict resolution and employee grievance handling.
• HR Reporting & Analytics: Prepare reports on engagement activities, employee participation, turnover trends, and HR operations metrics, track engagement program effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human resources, Business Administration, or related field with at least 12 – 15 years experience in a similar role.
• Must have managed HR operations for a workforce of 1,000+ employees.
• Professional HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, HRCI) is an advantage.
• High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
