Job Description- Underwriting Specialist
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assess loan documents of customers and verify the authenticity of the loan applicants’ information and abnormal credit risk points through telephone, online inspection, and other methods.
Ensure the completion of credit review of accepted applications within the specified time.
Adhere to the credit policy and guidelines of the company.
Provide audit opinions according to the risk policy.
Offer recommendations on whether or not to approve an application.
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree/HND certification.
Previous experience is an added advantage.
Good communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Critical thinking skills.
Computer savvy.
Must have completed Nysc service.
Fluency in other native Language will be an advantage
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
Salary :60k
