About the Role
Lohachy Farms, a producer of premium-quality, farm-fresh eggs under hygienic and sustainable conditions, is seeking a Poultry Farm Supervisor to plan and oversee daily bird care, staff supervision, and farm biosecurity.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and supervise daily feeding, watering, and general care of birds
* Conduct regular health checks and coordinate treatment with the farm veterinarian
* Implement best practices to minimize mortality and maximize production efficiency
* Assign daily duties to farm workers and monitor performance
* Train staff on chick handling, feeding schedules, hygiene, and disease prevention
* Ensure safety and discipline among team members
* Monitor feed, vaccine, and medication stock levels
* Enforce farm biosecurity and hygiene protocols
* Ensure compliance with animal welfare and environmental standards
Requirements
* Minimum qualification of HND in Animal Science, Production, or Nutrition Technology
* 3–5 years’ experience in broiler production at a reputable company
