We’re Hiring: Logistics Manager
Location: Enugu, Nigeria
Department: Logistics / Operations
Reports to: Head of Operations & Head of Administration
We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee our distribution, fleet, drivers and logistics operations in Enugu.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, timely and cost-effective delivery of products, while maintaining strong control over fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, logistics costs and documentation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Plan and coordinate daily product deliveries to customers and distributors.
• Monitor delivery schedules and ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage company trucks, operational vehicles and fleet maintenance.
• Develop and monitor preventive maintenance schedules and vehicle downtime.
• Supervise drivers and ensure compliance with company safety and vehicle-use procedures.
• Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle repairs and logistics costs.
• Ensure products are properly loaded, secured and protected during transportation.
• Investigate delivery delays, product damages, losses and logistics incidents.
• Manage approved transporters, mechanics, workshops and other logistics service providers.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements, maintenance, fuel usage, driver assignments and delivery performance.
• Prepare weekly and monthly logistics performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements and applicable vehicle documentation.
• Work closely with Sales, Warehouse, Production, Finance, Procurement, HR and HSE teams to ensure seamless operations.

REQUIREMENTS
• B.Sc./HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in logistics, fleet or distribution management.
• Experience managing trucks, drivers, transportation and delivery operations.
• Experience in FMCG, manufacturing or distribution is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fleet maintenance, transportation planning and logistics cost management.
• Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Good reporting and data management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
