ROLE: ACADEMIC HEAD
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our Client School in Ajah, Lagos is seeking a Highly Experienced Academic Head who Possess recent working knowledge in a leadership capacity with a school. The Academic Head will serve as the Senior Leader of the School, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning, managing as a go-between for parents, pupils and the community. Ideal Candidate will lead the administrative part of the Nursery/Primary department, and should have the knowledge to teach basic Mathematics or basic English.
LOCATION: AJAH, LAGOS.
SALARY: 300k – 400k
RESPONSIBILITIES:
💠 Provide strategic leadership and set high expectations for staff and students.
💠 Lead the Management team in developing and implementing school policies, plans, and procedures.
💠 Oversee recruitment, Drive enrollment growth, and performance of teaching and non-teaching staff.
💠 Ensure compliance with educational standards with years of classroom teaching experience.
💠 Ability to resolve dispute, Liaise with Parents, Pupils, and the community to achieve inclusive and supportive learning environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
🌐 Candidate must possess a degree in Education, Or PGDE Or Masters.
🌐 Candidate must possess at least 4 years Experience working as either HEAD TEACHER, PRINCIPAL, OR VICE-PRINCIPAL with a reputable school.
🌐 Only Candidates that possess recent working experience as a HEAD TEACHER, PRINCIPAL, OR VICE PRINCIPAL with a school in Lagos can Apply.
🌐 Strong Leadership, Organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with ability to Handle difficult parents and pupils.
🌐 Experience with Nigerian Curriculum scheme, Computer proficiency, and ability to Multitask.
🌐 Must possess classroom experience, and should be able to take basic English or Mathematics in the primary class.
🌐 Ability to drive academics excellence and prepare students and teachers for internal/external exams.
