We are Hiring: Business Development Executive

Our client is a leading pension technology company committed to helping individuals and businesses secure their financial future through innovative retirement savings and pension solutions. Through our flagship platform, Penpay, we are transforming how pension contributions are remitted and managed across Nigeria.
As we continue to expand our market presence, we are seeking a results-driven and commercially astute Business Development Executive to drive business growth, deepen strategic partnerships, and accelerate customer acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
* Identify, prospect, and acquire new corporate clients, SMEs, and strategic partners.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, industry associations, pension stakeholders, and key decision-makers.
* Generate and manage a robust sales pipeline from lead generation through deal closure.
* Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities and trends.
* Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Customer Success teams to optimize customer acquisition and retention efforts.
* Prepare and deliver compelling business presentations, proposals, and pitches.
* Negotiate commercial agreements and partnership arrangements.
* Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports on business development activities.
* Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and networking engagements.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree from any recognised institution.

* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Business Development, Sales, Partnerships, or Revenue Growth roles.
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and acquisition targets.
* Strong understanding of the Nigerian financial services, fintech, pension, or employee benefits ecosystem.
* Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
* Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
* Demonstrated ability to build and manage high-value client relationships.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
