ROLE: CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER AND HEAD OF STRATEGY, MERGERS & ACQUISITIONS

JOB SUMMARY: The successful candidate will serve as the Chief Financial Officer and Head of Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions, responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial reporting framework, strategic planning, and investment growth initiatives. The role requires a visionary finance leader who can drive sustainable growth, ensure strong financial governance, and support the company’s long-term strategic objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CFA, ACIS or equivalent is required.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in similar or related roles.
Strong understanding of financial services regulations, with excellent knowledge of IFRS, FRCN, and SEC compliance requirements.
Skilled in strategic portfolio management, cost efficiency modeling, and scenario planning to support executive decision-making.
Excellent knowledge of Finance/ Tax Act and Investment and Securities Act other relevant Nigerian financial regulations.
Proficient in leveraging digital finance tools, and data analytics, to strengthen decision-making and reporting.
