VACANCY FOR INTERNAL AUDITOR
Requirements:
• Demonstrated experience in auditing, internal control, or accounting roles, with preference for candidates from retail, FMCG, eateries, audit firm, or supermarket environments.
• Minimum of B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years relevant work experience in auditing or internal control.
• ICAN Certification is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and reporting skills.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles, internal control systems, and audit standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail, integrity, confidentiality, and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular and surprise audits of all departments, branches, and production units (Pastries, Bakery, and Kitchen) to ensure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, and financial controls.
• Review cash handling, sales records, production outputs, inventory management (raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods), and expense documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Audit production processes, including material issuance, usage, wastage, yield, and variance analysis within the Pastries, Bakery, and Kitchen units.
• Detect, investigate, and promptly report discrepancies, fraud, wastage, shrinkage, or policy violations to management.
• Verify stock balances, supplier transactions, inter-departmental transfers, and store-to-production activities to ensure accountability and traceability.
• Evaluate internal control systems across retail and production operations and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and cost control.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and submit findings, risks identified, and corrective action plans to the Head of Audit and Management.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on compliance across all departments, including production units.
• Support management in risk assessment, loss prevention in production, cost optimization, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
