Caliphate Air Limited is a state airline wholly owned by the Sokoto State Government but operates as a limited liability company under the Sokoto State Investment Council. The airline has secured its Air Transport Licence (ATL) and is currently working toward obtaining its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority.
