Key Responsibilities of a Waiter
Welcome guests warmly and provide professional, courteous service.
Present menus, explain menu items, and assist guests with food and beverage selections.
Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate them to the kitchen or bar.
Serve food and beverages promptly and according to restaurant service standards.
Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and ready for guests.
Monitor guests’ needs throughout their dining experience and respond promptly to requests.
Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
Process bills and payments accurately, where required.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper food service practices.
Work closely with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Job Requirements
Applicants must have 2–3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a fine dining restaurant.
Good communication and customer service skills.
A professional, courteous, and customer-focused attitude.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Good teamwork and attention to detail.
Monthly Salary: ₦115,000 take-home
