Our client, a 5-star hospitality company in Abuja and a member of a large African conglomerate, is seeking an experienced and strategic professional to fill the role of Head of Human Resources.
Job Summary
The Head of Human Resources will provide strategic leadership and direction for the HR function, ensuring the attraction, development, and retention of top talent while fostering a high-performance culture aligned with the organization’s goals.
Key Responsibilities
•Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
•Oversee recruitment, talent management, and workforce planning.
•Drive performance management, learning, and development initiatives.
•Lead employee engagement, culture transformation, and organizational development.
•Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR best practices.
•Provide advisory support to management on HR-related matters.
•Oversee compensation, benefits, and staff welfare programs.
Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
•Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI) is required.
•Minimum of 10–15 years’ experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably within the hospitality sector.
•Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
•Proven experience in driving organizational growth and culture transformation.
