Role: Finance Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
· Assisting in financial analysis, including gathering and analysing financial data, preparing reports, and identifying trends and insights.
· Monthly review of vendor’s account.
· Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
· Monthly review of other payables
· Reconciliation and preparation of monthly report of all commercial broiler batch.
· GL scrutiny of all commercial broiler accounts head with the sub-ledger on Navision.
· Maintaining financial records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
· Contributing to process improvement initiatives within the finance department.
· Staying updated on industry trends and best practices related to accounts payable processes
· Ensure data are used or processed for the purpose set for such data and ensure absolute confidentiality while processing or using personal data.
Requirements:
First degree in Finance, Accounting and any related discipline
Minimum of 2-4years’ experience in relevant field
Excellent communication skills (including written, oral and presentation skills)
Attention to details
Strong problem solving & analytical skills
Good knowledge in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.

Commercial/Trading Associate
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Salary: N300,000 – N600,000 monthly
Position Summary:
Mayana Agro seeks an experienced commodity trading professional to originate and execute structured trade deals across Nigeria. The ideal candidate possesses deep market relationships, strong negotiation capability, and proven experience executing large-volume trades from sourcing through delivery.
Requirements:
• 4+ years in commodity trading, agro-supply chains, or bulk procurement
• Proven track record executing large-volume trades
• Existing relationships with buyers & suppliers
Core Responsibilities
1. Deal Origination & Market Development
• Secure purchase orders and supply contracts from mills, processors, exporters, and bulk buyers
• Maintain and grow industry relationships
• Identify high-margin trading opportunities
2. Sourcing & Supplier Network Management
• Build and manage farmer, aggregator, and supplier networks
• Negotiate optimal farmgate pricing
• Ensure consistent quality and supply volume
3. Trade Execution & Logistics
• Coordinate aggregation, storage, and transportation
• Manage delivery from origin to buyer
• Ensure timeline and quality compliance
4. Commercial Structuring & Risk Management
• Structure deals to minimize price and counterparty risk
• Align supplier and buyer payment cycles
• Prevent losses through strong contract & quality control
5. Market Intelligence & Pricing Strategy
• Monitor seasonal trends and regional price movements
• Optimize timing of purchases and deliveries
• Provide strategic pricing insights
6. Finance & Capital Efficiency
• Support trade finance structuring
• Work with banks & financiers where necessary
• Improve working capital cycles
